Symposium Overview

The GEOINT Symposium is the premier annual event for the geospatial intelligence community. It is produced and sponsored by the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF), a Virginia-based, nonstock, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation dedicated to promoting the geospatial intelligence tradecraft and developing a stronger community of interest between those who share a mission focus on the development and application of geospatial intelligence data to address national security objectives. The rich mix of educational sessions, compelling speakers, and ample opportunities for networking and relationship building sets GEOINT apart from all the rest.

GEOINT 2006 will be held at Nov. 13-16 at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

Dress Code
Business attire is suggested for attending sessions and the exhibit hall--including the USGIF Hall of Fame Dinner & Awards Banquet. Military personnel may wear the uniform of the day prescribed by their respective military services.  Tropical wear or casual dress is appropriate for the Welcome Reception and GeoWalk Hospitality Night.
